  • Dick's Sporting Goods and the Boston Celtics help make holiday wishes come true for the CityKicks players at the McKay School.

  • Check out the June 14th 2006 CBS TV4 news broadcast from the Jamboree featuring CityKicks players and our friends from the New England Revolution and Boston Renegades!

  • CityKicks 1st Annual Fundraising Tournament was a smashing success! Over one hundred players on 11 teams competed in the 2006 Icebreaker Tournament. Playing in ideal conditions, the tournament was a huge success. CityKicks raised over $6000. A special thanks to all the wonderful athletes and volunteers who made the event possible.

  • Executive Director Anne Strong and CityKicks were featured in the Smith College Alumnae Quarterly (Winter '05).

  • In 2002, our director, Anne Strong, received an award from the Society of Behavioral Medicine's Physical Activity and Special Interest Group for achievements in promoting soccer among inner-city girls.  Anne Strong was also honored with the 2002 Pathfinder Award from the Massachusetts Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, for promoting athletic opportunities for girls.

  • CityKicks has presented at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay's 2004 Leadership Gathering and at Robert Wood Johnson's After School for All Project Annual Conference in 2003.

  • We were in the 2002-2003 Catalogue for Philanthropy.
